Kilnwick Percy Hall and Grounds

Here are some pictures I took today at Kilnwick Percy Hall, home to a buddhist centre. It’s a beautiful, quiet place; I hope my photos reflect this?

My first photograph is of the lake. I love the colour of the bushes and the way it reflects in the water. I did try putting this photo in black and white, but it just didn’t have the same effect!

This photo really show the autumny colours at the centre, and the hall itself. Unfortunately i had to cut the front of the centre out of the photo due to the amount of cars sat out the front!

The walled gardens.

The next few are from the woodland area of the grounds. Here we found a rusty old shed, next to a keep out sign. It looked almost surreal from the colours and state of the shed. The woodland was also full of some massive, beautiful trees and unusual fungus’; A swing, an old church (this caused alot of debate with my family as to whether we thought it was still used or not!), and an old garden wall.
